The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China regarding the Establishment of the Indonesia-China Joint Research and Development Center on Vaccine and Genomics on July 26, 2022. This MoU was then followed up with a Joint Action Plan (JAP), which includes activities to enhance human resource capacity, particularly in the fields of vaccines and genomics. In line with the implementation of this JAP and to strengthen pharmaceutical resilience and pandemic preparedness, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, will hold a Symposium on Indonesia-China Joint Research and Development on Vaccine and Genomics. On August 28, 2024, Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center in collaboration with Indonesia Special Economic Zone, United In Diversity, Ministry of Health, and Kura Kura Bali conducted an event titled “the Inauguration of Indonesia China Joint Research Center”.
