
In anticipation of the Smart Supply Chain Management program that will be offered by the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center in August 2024, TSEA hosted a promotional webinar titled “Transforming Supply Chains with AI” on 12 June 2024. The webinar featured a seminar by Prof. Victor Chan of the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, who discussed the use of AI in supply chain management. Attended by over 130 professionals, students, and entrepreneurs, the session covered topics such as the history of supply chain and AI, the AI readiness of organizations, and case studies on AI applications in supply chain management.
The event continued with an introduction to the Smart Supply Chain Management program by TSEA Academic Director, Michael Tuori, highlighting the program’s objectives and key features. The webinar concluded with a lively Q&A session with Prof. Chan, where participants engaged in thought-provoking discussions and gained deeper insights into the role of AI in shaping the future of supply chains.
