
The Knowledge Sharing and Networking Event, titled “Shaping the Future Economy: AI & Semiconductor,” was held on September 29, 2024, as a collaborative effort between the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA Center), United In Diversity (UID), Kura Kura Bali, and the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The event welcomed approximately 250 participants, including the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Secretary General of SEZ, the Secretary General of the Engineering Association, and several high-ranking representatives from Kura Kura Bali, TSEA Center, and UID.
The program featured Focus Group Discussions involving policymakers, academics, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge developments and trends in AI and semiconductors, Business Forum sessions aimed at fostering potential collaborations and exploring business opportunities in the AI and semiconductor sectors, Investment Promotion showcasing Indonesia’s Special Economic Zones and highlighting investment opportunities in AI and semiconductor industries.
This event served as a pivotal platform for exchanging knowledge, forging partnerships, and promoting Indonesia’s role in the future economy driven by technology and innovation.
