The IFoU Summer School is a collaborative program between Tsinghua University, Tarumanagara University, and the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center, held from July 8 to July 19, 2024, across three villages: Kelecung Village, Tenganan Village, and Serangan Village. Approximately 45 participants, predominantly students from Tsinghua University, Tarumanagara University, and several others from Hong Kong and South Korea, took part in this program.
The summer school aims to immerse students in understanding the unique profiles of the three host villages through a live-in experience. One of the key objectives is to analyze the tourism potential of these villages, evaluate the availability of supporting infrastructure and facilities, and explore strategies to develop sustainable tourism opportunities in the selected villages.
