From July 24 to 30, 2024, the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University sent 15 students to the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center and various locations in Bali as part of an academic exchange program. During their visit, the students explored several predetermined sites, including the Turtle Conservation and Education Center (TCEC), Kinar Village, Udayana University, Rumah Kompus Padangtegal, a coral reef conservation volunteer service, the Celukan Bawang Combined Cycle Power Plant, and the Provincial Environmental Agency.
Following their time in Bali, the students continued their academic exchange in Jakarta from July 31 to August 5, 2024. There, they engaged in further educational and cultural activities, deepening their understanding of Indonesia’s academic and environmental landscape.
