
The International Training Program on Investment Environment and Industrial Opportunities of the “Belt and Road Initiative” was successfully held on November 22, 2024, at the UID Bali Campus. Organized by the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA) and Tsinghua University, the event brought together Chinese entrepreneurs and key stakeholders to explore Indonesia’s business policies and regional economic potential.
The program featured insightful presentations by industry and academic experts. I Nyoman Suma Artha, owner of Balizen, discussed the characteristics and challenges of Indonesia’s regional economic development. I Komang Gde Bendesa, Vice Rector of Bali International University, provided an academic perspective on regional economic opportunities and sustainable investment strategies. I Wayan Padu, Deputy General Chair for Vocational and Human Resources of KADIN, highlighted the importance of vocational training and human resource development in supporting industrial growth.
Beyond the presentations, the event facilitated valuable networking opportunities and encouraged meaningful discussions on sustainable business practices within the Belt and Road Initiative framework. By fostering cross-border dialogue and collaboration, the program contributed to strengthening economic ties and promoting long-term investment strategies between China and Indonesia.
