
The Knowledge Sharing and Networking Event, titled “Shaping the Future Economy: AI & Semiconductor,” was held on September 29, 2024, as a collaborative effort between the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA Center), United In Diversity (UID), Kura Kura Bali, and the Special Economic ZThe hybrid event “The Future of Healthcare: Unleashing AI’s Potential” took place on October 3, 2024, at the UID Bali Campus and online, drawing an audience of 100 to 150 participants. Attendees included healthcare professionals, administrators, and technology enthusiasts eager to explore AI’s transformative role in healthcare. Organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Ministry of Health and Tsinghua University, the event aligned with Indonesia’s Healthcare 5.0 vision, emphasizing sustainable healthcare innovation and the integration of AI-driven advancements.
The conference featured esteemed speakers, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Riyanto Trilaksono (ITB), Prof. Song Sen (Tsinghua University), Dr. Gerhard Reinaldi Situmorang, and industry leaders such as Fangwen Zhai (Hangzhou Jianjia Medical Technology) and Fangzhou Liao (Shukun Tech). Their discussions covered a wide range of topics, from AI-driven robotic surgery and advanced medical imaging to emotional disorder diagnostics. The event provided valuable insights into how AI is reshaping the healthcare landscape, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing medical efficiency.
Beyond technological advancements, the event also addressed AI regulation in healthcare and the importance of cross-border collaborations. Discussions highlighted opportunities for Indonesia and China to strengthen their partnerships in AI-driven healthcare solutions. By showcasing cutting-edge innovations and fostering meaningful dialogue, the event left participants inspired and optimistic about AI’s potential to revolutionize healthcare systems.one (SEZ). The event welcomed approximately 250 participants, including the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Secretary General of SEZ, the Secretary General of the Engineering Association, and several high-ranking representatives from Kura Kura Bali, TSEA Center, and UID.
