
Mayor of Changsha, Zhou Min, along with a distinguished delegation, visited the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA) on October 17, 2024, to learn more about the center’s mission and programs. The delegation included Zhou Zhi Hui, Secretary of the Leading Party Group and Director of the Changsha Market Supervision Bureau; Yuan Hai Yan, Deputy Director of the Changsha Urban Management Bureau; Zhou Kun, Deputy District Chief of the Yuhua District Committee; Peng Zheng Qiu, Deputy County Mayor of Changsha County; and Huang Gang, Deputy Mayor of Liuyang.
During the visit, TSEA introduced its programs and initiatives, emphasizing its role in fostering innovation and sustainability. The delegation explored the center’s ongoing projects and expressed strong interest in potential future collaborations. They were particularly impressed with the campus layout, which prominently incorporates recycled materials, showcasing TSEA’s commitment to eco-friendly design and sustainable development.
