As part of the preparations for the upcoming collaborative event between Tsinghua University and the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA), Professor Tian from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University paid a brief visit to the TSEA campus in Denpasar, Bali on April 23, 2025. The visit aimed to directly assess TSEA’s readiness as the venue for the upcoming event, as well as to discuss technical and logistical needs with the local team.
During his visit, Professor Tian was welcomed by the TSEA implementation team and taken on a tour of several facilities that will be used during the event. He was also given a brief overview of TSEA’s flagship programs, including Happy Digital X (HDX), as well as the interdisciplinary approach applied in connecting the sectors of education, technology, and sustainable development across Southeast Asia. The meeting was also an opportunity to align expectations and discuss potential further synergies between the two institutions.
Although brief, this visit was an important step in ensuring the readiness of the upcoming event and strengthening communication between Tsinghua University and TSEA. With thorough preparation and a spirit of collaboration, both parties hope the upcoming event will proceed smoothly and make a tangible contribution to the development of knowledge and innovation at the regional level.
