Held over three days in Bali, The 4th Psychology from the East, Psychology from the West International Conference 2025 (PEWIC 2025) gathered academics and psychology practitioners from across the globe to exchange insights on the evolving role of psychology in the technological era. The first day, Thursday, October 16, 2025, opened with a keynote speech by Prof. Stella Christie titled “Trends of Cognitive Science in the Era of Artificial Intelligence.” The day continued with panel discussions and parallel sessions exploring the dynamic relationship between humans and AI, and how psychological interventions and technology can enhance personal development.

Exploring Positive Psychology and Innovation in the Workplace:

On the second day, Friday, October 17, 2025, the focus shifted to positive psychology and its cultural applications. Panel 3 featured Prof. Corrina D. Riantoputra, Prof. Kaiping Peng, and Prof. Thomas Suddendorf, who discussed perspectives on positive psychology from Indonesia, China, and the West.
