The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Bali convened its Annual Symposium today at the Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA), located within the United in Diversity (UID) Bali Campus. The event brought together key Indonesian government agencies, institutional stakeholders, and strategic partners to review progress, strengthen coordination, and advance cooperation across sectors.

The symposium served as an important platform for dialogue and reporting, where representatives from various institutions, including customs authorities, tourism bodies, and relevant ministries, presented updates on their respective areas of collaboration with China. The discussions highlighted recent achievements, ongoing initiatives, and measurable progress in facilitating trade, tourism flows, and bilateral engagement.
Throughout the session, participating agencies actively shared insights into policy implementation, operational improvements, and cross-border coordination efforts. Particular emphasis was placed on enhancing efficiency in customs processes, improving the quality and accessibility of tourism services, and strengthening institutional alignment to support increasing exchanges between China and Indonesia.

The Consulate General underscored the importance of sustained collaboration and open communication among stakeholders, noting that such annual engagements play a critical role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. The symposium also provided an opportunity to identify emerging challenges and align on forward-looking strategies to further strengthen bilateral ties.
Participants expressed appreciation for the platform, recognizing it as a valuable space to reflect on progress and reinforce shared commitments. Many highlighted the importance of maintaining strong coordination mechanisms to support the growing connectivity between China and Bali, particularly in the areas of tourism, trade facilitation, and public service delivery.
