The Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center (TSEA) became a vibrant hub of ideas and collaboration as ,in partnership with Tsinghua Shenzhen Graduate International School (SIGS), successfully hosted the second offline session of Happy Digital X (HDX) Cohort 3.0 from 23–25 January 2026 at Kura Kura Bali SEZ.
Certified by Tsinghua University, Happy Digital X is a 12-week executive education program designed to prepare leaders to navigate digital transformation, emerging technologies, and increasingly complex organizational challenges. The Bali session represented a key milestone in the program, moving learning beyond the virtual classroom into an immersive, face-to-face environment that encouraged deeper discussion, reflection, and collaboration.

Over the course of three intensive days, 21 executives and professionals from Indonesia and Malaysia demonstrated strong enthusiasm and active engagement across all sessions. The atmosphere was marked by lively exchanges and thoughtful debate as participants interacted closely with a distinguished lineup of international faculty and speakers. Among them were Prof. Victor Chan (Tsinghua SIGS), Prof. Mats Hanson (KTH Sweden), Melwin Azwar (ARUP), and Tomas Diez (Fab City Foundation), alongside experts from leading global organizations.
The program featured a dynamic mix of interactive modules, plenary discussions, and challenge-based group exercises, allowing participants to translate strategic concepts into practical leadership insights. Drawing from diverse professional backgrounds, participants contributed real-world perspectives that enriched discussions and reinforced peer-to-peer learning.

The in-person format enabled more candid conversations, sharper questions, and stronger connections between participants and faculty. By the end of the session, the cohort displayed renewed momentum, strengthened professional networks, and a shared commitment to applying digital leadership principles within their respective organizations.
The whole session concluded with overwhelmingly positive responses, reaffirming Happy Digital X as a growing platform for cultivating future-ready leaders equipped to drive meaningful digital transformation across the region.
