Bringing together global experts in science and technology15th Asia-Pacific Conference on Near-field Optics (AP-NFO) Conference 2025 will shine a spotlight on the latest advances in optics and nanotechnology. Scheduled for 21 August 2025 at the Awan Auditorium, Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center in Bali, the full-day program will feature plenary lectures, keynote addresses, networking sessions, and tours that combine academic excellence with cultural experiences.
The scientific sessions will begin in the morning with talks from distinguished scholars. Prof. Minghui Hong will explore Microsphere Enhanced Surface Nano-Patterning and Optical Nano-Imaging, followed by Prof. Motoichi Ohtsu with insights on Off-Shell Science Guided by Dressed Photons. Completing the series, Dr. Mengku Liu will deliver a keynote on Recent Advances in Optical Nanoscopy with Quantum Materials. These discussions promise to highlight transformative ideas shaping the future of photonics and quantum materials research.
After a short coffee break, the program continues with the Closing Ceremony before transitioning to networking over lunch at the Tech Incubator and Mezzanine areas. This session is designed not only to give participants a chance to refresh but also to encourage meaningful connections between academics, researchers, and industry professionals in an informal atmosphere.
In the afternoon, the spotlight moves outside the auditorium with two engaging activities. The Island Tour at 13.00 will give attendees a taste of Bali’s culture and natural beauty, while the Technical Tour from 15.00 to 18.00 will showcase local innovation and research facilities.
