Collaboration between education, government, and global institutions took center stage on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Cloud Lounge, Tsinghua Southeast Asia Center. The discussion agenda brought together key representatives from Tsinghua Southeast Asia (Tsinghua SEA), Zhili College, the Center for Global Competence Development (CGCD), and the Bali Provincial Government, with a focus on strengthening partnerships in education, youth development, the environment, and global competence.
The program began with participant arrivals at 08.30, followed by opening remarks and a welcome speech by Dita Saraswati, Program Coordinator of Tsinghua SEA. Introductions from Zhili College and CGCD set the tone for the event, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between international institutions and local stakeholders in advancing education and sustainable development.
Two keynote presentations highlighted the agenda. The Department of Education, Youth, and Sports of Bali shared insights on regional strategies for education and youth development, followed by a discussion and Q&A session. Later, the Department of Forestry and Environment of Bali Province presented initiatives on environmental and forestry management, sparking an engaging dialogue with participants.
The event concluded with closing remarks and a group photo at 11.20, followed by a visit to one of the schools in Bali and a presentation by Zhili College students. By combining formal dialogue with direct engagement in educational practice, the program underscored Bali’s role as both a hub for global collaboration and a living example of how education, sustainability, and cultural exchange can intersect to create meaningful opportunities for cooperation.
